IS A GLOBAL MOVEMENT FOR REDUCING PAPER CONSUMPTION. BY USING THE A5 FORMAT, WHICH IS HALF THE SIZE OF THE A4 STANDARD FOR PRINTING OF DOCUMENTS THAT HAVE A LOWER VOLUME OF CONTENTS. SUCH AS RECEIPTS, INVOICES, DIPLOMAS, CERTIFICATIONS ETC.

TOTAL DIGITALIZATION IS THE BEST SOLUTION, BUT UNTIL WE GET TO THAT POINT, WE CAN HALF THE PAPER CONSUMPTION. A5 FORMAT IS HALF THE SIZE OF A4, THAT MEANS HALF LESS EXPENSES AND HALF TREES SAVED.

Main Facts for the transition from A4 to A5:

• There is no legal regulative that points out that we need to use A4 for documents.

• There is no technological transfer, all commercial printers and computer operative systems support printing in A5 format.

• A5 is half the size of A4, that means half the paper expenses. That also means half the trees saved. A5 format occupies half the storage space.
